JEFFERSON CITY (November 22, 2005)-The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently honored DataServ LLC with the Missouri Chamber 2005 Fast Track Award, an award recognizing the fastest growing businesses in Missouri. The award was presented during the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Annual Meeting, November 10, at the Liberty Memorial Museum in Kansas City.
"Missouri's economy is growing, with Department of Labor statistics showing the lowest unemployment rate in 4 years, and the addition of 31,700 jobs since January," said Daniel P. Mehan, Missouri Chamber president and CEO. "Companies DataServ are major contributors to those positive growth numbers in our state, and I am honored to recognize their business with the Missouri Chamber Fast Track Award."
The Missouri Chamber Fast Track Awards are presented annually. The award winners are selected from nominations received from Missouri Chamber members and local chambers of commerce based on growth rates over the last four years.
"Fast Track winners are companies that have demonstrated the ability to take advantage of market opportunities, resulting in rapid earnings of growth and expansion of distribution of their goods and services," stated Mehan "Some were nominated by local chambers, others by their peers. All aimed for success, have achieved it, and are using the accomplishment as a platform to strive for even greater successes."
DataServ LLC earned this award for unprecedented growth over the past four years. DataServ LLC, an electronic document management company employing 54 in Town and Country, recorded 920 percent growth from 1999-2004 and expects another 40 percent growth rate in 2005. The firm helps companies set up systems for processing and storing documents electronically. For example, the company can open mail for a client, scan it, and organize and host it online so the work can be processed anywhere in the world. That is one simple example of the many, many technology applications this fast track company is providing its customer base - which started in St. Louis, but now spans the globe.
